The Lesotho Library Association has been a big supporter of the Bachelor of Library and Information Studies programme at the National University of Lesotho since its inception by partaking in and supporting towards achieving various activities to date for the programme’s sustainability. LLA President, Mrs Sylvia Tsukulu presented an award to the ‘Best Performer” student Mats’eliso Lydia Manoni at the 49th Convocation held on the 09th October 2024 at the Netherlands Hall, National University of Lesotho at 14:00hrs. This indicates that LLA is fulfilling its objectives of equipping members with skills and competencies through workshops, training and programmes. It is also a good initiative and benefit for the profession’s growth with skilled personnel and the association to be at an advantage of competition.
